Robert Kratchman
Brother Kratchman passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Bergen County, New Jersey. Later in life Robert and his wife moved to Mooresville, North Carolina. He retired as Captain the of the Mahwah Police Department after serving 25 years in 1985. Afterwards, he became an ordained deacon and was an active member at St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Wyckoff, New Jersey, St. Theresa’s Parish in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, and St. Therese Parish in Mooresville, North Carolina. |

Donald T. Caughlin
Brother Coughlin was born on Sept. 11, 1936 in Hoboken. He graduated from Ramsey High School, Indiana University and the New Jersey Police Academy, later serving his community as a police officer in Mahwah. He retired Lieutenant Officer after 25 years of civil service. In his youth he was a well recognized competitive swimmer, which later led to a 40-year second profession as a leading New Jersey state swim coach. |

Raymond McGill
In 1972 he became a police officer for the Mahwah Police Dept. During his tenure with the police force he graduated from the National FBI Academy in Quantico, VA in 1998. Also during his career he gained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Criminology from William Paterson and Rutger’s University respectively. Ray was the originator of the DARE Hockey program in Mahwah and taught criminology in various colleges in the area. Ray retired as Captain from the Mahwah Police Department in 2002. |

Jeffrey Phillips
Jeff Phillips began his career as a Police Officer Jan. 1, 1979, with the Mahwah Police Department. Phillips was a state delegate for PBA Local 143 and was recording secretary for 16 years with the Bergen County Executive Board. He wore Badge 1072 until his retirement 25 years later on Dec. 26, 2003. Jeff died at the young age of 55 on December 9, 2009. He will truly be missed. |
